EPLAM Systems was founded by Dr. Eric P. Lam in 2011. As an aerospace worker for the defense industry, Dr. Lam has worked on various projects with Northrop Grumman and Raytheon Company. His expertise is in algorithm development and simulations for imaging systems and radar systems.
Dr. Lam, a results-focused senior systems analyst professional with extensive algorithm analysis and development experience, has contributed to 30+ scholarly papers ranging from wavelets, image processing, and radar systems simulations.
Dr. Lam has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Cruz, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.
Since 2011, Dr. Lam was a lecturer for the Electrical and Engineering Department at Cal Poly Pomona.
Dr. Lam was a product trainer for The MathWorks specializing in signal processing, image processing, and computer vision using MATLAB and Simulink from 2012 to 2016. Currently Dr. Lam is a systems engineer with Engility Corporation, while acting as CEO for EPLAM Systems.
